KALIZEA, company of the VIVESCIA Group, is one of the European leading maize mills for the processing of maize.

KALIZEA promotes all the potential of maize kernels for human food and animal feed.
Semolinas, flours, grits or oils, KALIZEA develops a range of innovative ingredients made of maize intended for the agri-food sector. With more than 100 employees on 3 production sites, KALIZEA has a production capacity of nearly 260,000 tons.

KALIZEA has been relying for more than 50 years on a set of agronomic and industrial know-how, which, from the field to the plate, involves all the players in a common approach of progress. It ensures a total traceability, improves the production quality in a sustainable way, and provides a coherent and effective response to the environmental issues.

INNOVATION BY NATURE

The KALIZEA innovation takes its source in the choice of selected maize varieties. It is then confirmed by the constant improvement of our manufacturing processes, then is declined through the development of our range of products, all from natural processing and without any additive to the maize kernel.

RISK MANAGEMENT

In a competitive context where markets are increasingly volatile and where their understanding is more complex, KALIZEA supports its customers by providing them with some solutions in the management of their risk.

CLEAN LABEL

Thanks to our 100% mechanical process, all our agri-food products are made without additive, preserving the technical, nutritional and organoleptic characteristics of the cereal during all the processing. Thus, they can get the "clean label" labelling.

CLOSE TO THE FARMERS AND TO THE NATURE

As the subsidiary of the VIVESCIA Cooperative Group, we source more than 90% of our maize from the farmers of the cooperative in France, with maize produced near the maize mill, most often within a 100 km radius.

We have a special relationship with local maize farmers in Poland or Romania. These guarantee us some quality maize around our production sites.
